How to create an event

Create an event

  1. Select Events in the left menu
  2. Click on My events
  3. Click the Create event button in the top right corner
  4. Choose the template you want to use
    • You can choose between the system's general templates and possibly your own templates.
  5. Add text, description and image
    • Enter the event's name, a short description, and the full description of the event. Then you can add the image you want to present the event with.
  6. Specify date and privacy settings
    • Specify the start date and registration period. Decide whether the event should be "visible to everyone" on the event list or if it should be "private".
  7. Add participant types and prices
    • Finally, add the number of participant types you need – for example, adult and child. Enter prices and any additional information that must be completed. At this step, you will be presented with a guide to ensure you include everything.
  8. Test and publication
    • Once you have set up the event, it's time to test. By clicking "Test registration" you can go through your setup from start to finish. Since the event is in draft, you can complete the registration, make a test payment, and receive tickets and possibly a receipt – without any "real" payment being required.
    • After testing the registration and if you do not want to make further changes, you must publish the event. It is important to publish the event because all registrations in draft mode are tests and not valid.
    • You publish the event by clicking the "Publish event" button.
    • Your event is now ready for registration and you can retrieve the link under "Share (event links)".
Once the event is created, you will be able to see it in the list of My events.
