WordPress Plugin

It has now become even easier to share your events directly on your own WordPress website! We have launched a WordPress plugin that automatically integrates your events, so you can quickly and easily present them to your audience

Note: This plugin is only available for Pro+ subscribers or by special agreement. Call us and inquire about the WordPress plugin for a good deal.

Install the event.it plugin

  1. Click the button below to download the plugin file (.zip)
    • The file should not be unpacked – upload the .zip file directly in WordPress
  2. Go to Plugins in the WordPress menu, click “Add Plugin” and then “Upload Plugin
  3. Select the .zip file you just downloaded, and click “Install Now”
  4. When the installation is complete, click “Activate Plugin”

Configure Event.it WordPress Plugin

  1. Log in to event.it
  2. Look at the browser's address bar. It says something like: event.it/YOUR-ORGANIZER-NAME/admin.
    • Copy the organizer name (the part after event.it/)
  3. Go to your WordPress dashboard and open the Event.it plugin
  4. Go back to Event.it, click on the tab Organizer and select the submenu API.
  5. Check the box for External API access allowed and accept the terms for API access.
  6. Find the field Your personal passphrase.
    • Copy the passphrase and paste it into the WordPress plugin in the field Pass phrase.
  7. Done! Your Event.it plugin is now ready to use, and your events will automatically be displayed on your WordPress website
