General Event Templates

When you create an event, you use an event template. The template saves you time so you don't have to create the event from scratch.

You choose the template that best suits your purpose – and create your event.

The system has two general templates:

  • Ticket Sales
  • Participant Registration

Ticket Sales

Ticket Sales is a simple template you can use for, for example, selling tickets to concerts etc., where you do not need information such as name, email, and phone number for each individual participant.

 

Participant Registration

You choose Participant Registration when you need information on each individual participant – for example, at a conference, a course, etc. By default, the fields name, email, and mobile are added, and you can add more during creation.

 

Create Your Own Event Template

  1. Select Events in the left menu
  2. Click on My Events
  3. Then choose which event your template should be based on
  4. Click the Copy Event button and select Create Template
  5. A side dialog will then appear and you must click Create Template
  6. The event will be converted into a template
    • The event will be converted into a template and can thereafter be found in the left menu under the menu item Events > My Event Templates

If you are logged in as a department, the event templates are found on the main department's organizer – and any changes must be made there.
